Principal’s Welcome

Welcome to Patumahoe Primary School

Kia ora koutou

Nau mai haere mai ki te kura o Patumahoe

Patumahoe School is a large semi-rural primary school situated in the attractive village of Patumahoe, 10 kilometres northwest of Pukekohe in the Franklin District of Auckland city. We are a contributing school so we educate pupils between Years 1-6. The majority of our leavers go on to Pukekohe Intermediate.

The school was established in 1866 and boasts attractive and spacious grounds with large mature native trees, hard court areas, playing fields, a covered heated swimming pool and three adventure playgrounds.

The school has a Ministry enrolment policy in place to monitor and control roll growth.

We offer a Before School and After School Care Programme, which is run by a private business called KAS (Kids After School).

We are a very active, involved school that achieves a very high standard in academic, arts and sporting activities. Our parent partnership is very strong and we encourage all our families to be actively involved with their child’s learning.

I feel both proud and privileged to lead this outstanding primary school and the amazing professionals that make up the team here. We aim to deliver the best possible education for your child in an inclusive and vibrant setting, where each child is given the opportunity to flourish both as a learner but also as an individual.
